    Rainbow Vans


      The first thing I ever designed was a pair of Vans sneakers.  My mom drove me to the shop in the Val and I designed full blown rainbow Vans - red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple - when they arrived I slept with them under my pillow.  From then on all I wanted to do was design clothes.  All my GF's were into Rock Stars and I was obsessed with sneakers & surf culture.  I was a girly girl but I also fit right in with my brother and his skateboard friends.  I guess I was a girly girl tomboy!  
    Nothing like communing with nature, being in the water & skateboarding on a gorgeous summer day, not having a care in the world.

      I HEART Juicy!!  Went 2 the store in Chicago and had a GREAT sale.  Love it and wish they had a Juicy store in Iowa!!!!

      Theirs nothing liek kicking back in your juicy sweats and wearing a pair of vans to go for a walk at the beach at night, or just arround your house, its one of my favorite outfits for casuals' !

      haha.. girly tom-boy.. dats cool. Skateboarding..rock stars..sneakers.. is common among alottaaa teens n kids! N cute inspiration..frm designing rainbow vans... u can see how far u got now, off course without a doubt...now ur an inspiration to millions out there n myself. You guys rock!       I love designing, too! I also seem like a cross between a tom boy and a girly girl. The thrill of designing clothes is awesome, especially when the sketches come to life. I hope to be an awesome designer like you guys, Pam & Gela!

      The first thing i ever made was a evening gown. it was'nt a pretty sight being that it was made on lined papper and fruity smelling markers lol but it was a start and you always have to start some where right? but my drawings have improved and its just the matter of getting them made lol.

      but one thing i know is i will never forget were i started and i will never forget the ones who inspired me the most :) you two are deffinitly one of them. :)

      I'm usually dressed up with heels and all that, I LOVE wearing a classic pair white Vans on the weekends (but the rainbow colors sound awesome too!!) Just like you said, the tomboy twist to an outfit!
